Alphatrad Worldwide is awarded a contract with the EU Translation Centre for the provision of legal texts through 2018
On June 17, 2014, the Translation Centre for the Bodies of the European Union awarded us a contract for provision of translation and revision services to its institutional customers in the legal field. Our economic, financial, technical and professional capacity, and the absence of conflict of interest for winning the tendered contract were screened carefully. Alphatrad Worldwide emerged successfully among the many tenderers who submitted.
The Translation Center for the Bodies of the European Union was established by the Council of the European Union through Council Regulation (EC) No 2965/94 of 28 November 1994 to cater for the translation needs of a growing number of European agencies and bodies. Clients of the Translation Center include the Council of the European Union (COUNCIL), the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU), the European Union’s Judicial Cooperation Unit (EUROJUST), the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHMI) and the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC). Its official headquarters is located in Luxembourg.

The contract signed between Alphatrad Worldwide and the Translation Center of the European Union is expected to commence on July 1, 2014, it shall end on June 30, 2015 and is renewable for a further period of up to four years.
